ABOUT THE ARTIST

PATRICIA VONNE

Patricia Vonne's special Birthday Holiday performance brings her signature Texas spirit and a little holiday mischief featuring songs from her award-winning Christmas album, My Favorite Holiday. The album’s 10 original tracks include “Santa’s On A Rampage,” named “Coolest Song in the World” on Steven Van Zandt’s Underground Garage radio show on SiriusXM.

Joined by David Perales on violin, Vonne will also dip into her ten bilingual albums for an evening that moves beyond the usual holiday playlist.

Vonne says "I'm thrilled to perform at the legendary Gunter Hotel in my beloved San Antonio. Come celebrate my birthday with me-- let's make some merry memories and get into the Christmas spirit!"

Hailed by The New York Times as a “Renaissance woman of Austin, Texas,” Vonne brings that creative fire to everything she does—as a singer, songwriter, actress, activist and award-winning filmmaker. The three-time Austin Music Award winner just released her 10th album “My Heart’s Got a Mind of Its Own” which features the Lennon Award winning song “Will You Ever Know” and the infectious title track co- written with her longtime heroes Chris Isaak and Johnny Reno.

Her music has taken her around the world, from Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival and the World Expo in Japan to the Kennedy Center, the Grand Ole Opry and United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

Vonne has appeared on the big screen in Spy Kids Armageddon, Desperado, Machete Kills, Four Rooms and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For in which she reprises her role as Dallas/Zorro Girl. Her song Traeme Paz was featured in the film Once Upon a Time in Mexico.
