ABOUT THE ARTISTS Texas native Eve Monsees has been a fixture on the Austin music scene for over 25 years. Along with fellow guitarist and neighbor Gary Clark Jr, the two cut their teeth playing Blues together throughout their teenage years. Eve has received “Best Guitarist” honors in the prestigious Austin Music Awards and was recently recognized by the City of Austin with a proclamation declaring March 30, 2026 as Eve Monsees Day. She has appeared on Austin City Limits alongside Gary Clark Jr. and with the Antone’s 50th AllStars. She has toured throughout the US and Europe but maintains deep ties to the local Austin scene. As members of the Antone’s House Band, she and musical partner / drummer Mike Buck are often called upon to back up touring artists and Blues musicians at the legendary Antone’s Nightclub. They also play together with legendary roots rockers the LeRoi Brothers, a band which Mike co-founded. Eve plays with the Bluebonnets, alongside Kathy Valentine, Dominique Davalos & Kristy McInnis. Loud and rockin, this all female group has toured throughout the US and UK. Time off stage is typically spent at Antone’s Record Shop, a legendary shop that has been in operation since 1987 that Eve & Mike own. Eve is also Vice President of the Austin based non-profit HOME which provides housing support for older Austin musicians. Living in Austin has allowed Eve & Mike to surround themselves with all aspects of music and they are proud to be such an integral part of that vibrant community.
